This project has been extremely energizing. Its allowed us to go back to our roots and make music that we love making - for the sake of creating.

We're taking this project to Japan for the next few months where we'll be hanging with friends and playing a show!

The NFT "route 66" is a unique blend of classic rock and country music. This song was sparked during a drive along the iconic Route 66, and it serves as the climactic finale of my album, "California Love Stories". This track seamlessly ties together the narratives of the preceding songs, and features an enticing over-two-minute guitar solo. Despite its position as the closing number in the album, "Route 66" hints that my musical love story is far from over.

"Route 66" was recorded at the renowned Dark Horse Recording studio, with the drum sections laid down in Los Angeles by the prominent drummer Edoardo Tancredi. Instrumentation was recorded by Lukas Cuman, with guitars by Simone Sello and Josh Del. The master was crafted by the illustrious Gavin Lurssen. This formidable team of musicians and producers has ensured that "Route 66" is a track of the highest quality, ready to make a resounding impact on your music collection.

Who are Beachcrimes? We’re a duo from LA and we spent the last year making songs in hotel rooms around the world. Beachcrimes is the soundtrack to that adventure.
 
We made a lot of songs, and we’re excited to share them. All of them. This year we’re releasing 24 songs in 48 weeks. If we’re being real, it’s actually two albums – there’s AM and there’s PM. AM is the lite stuff, PM is the nite stuff. Think of it like the Summer Olympics and Winter Olympics, but for dance music.

“For A Minute” is such a special song to us. It is the 20th song we’ve released this year, and captures that nostalgic feeling of trying to get over someone, having it almost work, until the moment you think of “us for a minute, your touch for a minute, your love for a minute”. This one has felt so special to us since the moment we wrote it, and we hope it resonates with you, too. Even if it’s only “for a minute” ;)

Chopsoe - Like That

"Like That" is one of the very first track I made this year.
I had this super dull beat for a while but couldn't figure out a way to make it interesting. I made 4 completely different versions of it and ended up mixing some of the best ideas I got. This is one of those songs that just take me forever to be satisfied with and I'm so happy with how it finally turned out.

Huge shoutout to Coop Records for helping me with this first drop and introducing me to the platform!
