I'm very excited to debut "Tell Me Why" on sound. This song is very personal. Tell Me Why is a dedication to a close friend of mine (City) that recently passed away. I created this song in his honor. Recording the initial demo for this was incredibly rough. It was such an emotional process, but was a huge part of my healing. I'm glad I can share it with you guys. Hopeful it can help someone else as well.

"Entropy" was directly inspired by @producedbydav's recent generative audiovisual CC0 project "Particles," released on Prohibition.art.

I was excited about the project and minted a number of Particles, including Particles #176. I was immediately inspired by the sound of #176, and felt compelled to write an entire piece around the sample.

The resulting work is "Entropy."

Accompanying the music are three images, which present a 3D modeled digital sculpture from three different perspectives. The sculpture is set within AI generated imagery, which was created using the image for Particles #176 and my own 3D modeled image combined as sources for AI transformation.

One collector of these works will also receive the 3D digital sculpture itself.

The Beaver Jam Club is the musicians' collective focused on cutting edge music production, founded by Brandon Schroeder. What began as an interview on the Beaver Jam Club's Artist Spotlight show, episode #4 on Twitter (X) Spaces, now available on podcast streaming platforms, blossomed into a creative friendship. Brandon had a vision to create a song based on the amazing freestyle Rohan did with the infamous loop "I Got 5 On It." The song envisioned was to be inspired by the tougher, true-to-life golden era hip hop classics contrasted by the spirit-filled, melodious vocals of reggae music. Brandon teamed up with his brother Ryan and they created the music heard on the track today. Ryan Schroeder is an amazingly talented musician and was crucial in the genesis of this track with Brandon. The song was then sent to Rohan with the help of his manager @$MoneyLoooong$ on Twitter (X). Vocals were recorded by RDG at G.L.O.W. Entertainment studios in North Carolina, US in July, 2023. When finished with many electrifying takes, the recordings were sent to @MerkleyMusic on Twitter (X) with Christopher Merkley for the mixing and mastering. The final production was done between everyone involved including: Brandon Schroeder, Ryan Schroeder, Rohan Da Great, and Christopher Merkley, however none of the production for this song could have been done without the genius of Christopher Merkley's mixing abilities. Brandon is honored to have been able to work with so many truly talented artists to bring this vision to fruition. By minting this song, "Greatness Indeed," you support independent musicians who strive to survive in a world that doesn't appreciate them nearly to the extent it use to. Streaming platforms are nearly impossible to make a decent living on alone and the expectations for what a new album release can bring-in financially are marginal compared to the amounts seen just a couple decades ago. Now with the advent of blockchain tech and smart contracts, the power can be given back to the music creators as opposed to the hand's of big business. A new landscape is being built on the revolutionary minds of web3 devs, paving the way with unique and exciting ways to connect, grow, and remain independent as a musician.

The values of web3 align with Rohan Da Great's mission to support independent music and the culture of music NFTs is what inspired him to get involved, support other artists, and begin creating in this space. This is far from a one time venture for Rohan as he is already in the works collabing with other NFT projects and finding anyway he can to participate, give-back, and to grow alongside the rest of the web3 music family at large.

Rohan Da Great, son of legendary dancehall artist Curry Don, is an aspiring MC hailing from east Flatbush Brooklyn New York now residing in North Carolina. CREANS - Put Em Up

"Put Em Up" is the very first Music NFT released by CREANS and is an absolute searing EDM festival banger! The cover art is new original work from ANGRY TENO.

Inspired by the art, community and vibe that CREANS found in the NFT project ANGRY APES SOCIETY, he set his mind to craft something that was both an anthem celebrating the art that ANGRY TENO had created but also was about the community who grew from it.  The lyrics are reflect that experience as well from things like about celebrating life:

"From the front to the back --

..and then the lyrics also speak to how community is created, the friendships made and fellowship thats created between IRL/web2 life and the emerging web3 space:

In order to bring this whole vision to life, CREANS wanted to elevate both the music and the art to the same top-tier level. He wanted the art to be something people would WANT to collect so that meant he needed to partner up with someone truly great. This is where the magic and wonder of a perfect collaboration comes in. CREANS and ANGRY TENO knew each other through the AAS project and started having conversations about how to make the art contain the same freshness & energy that the song did, but also still be part of the Angry Apes Society's universe and lore. 

For CREANS, he wanted the artwork to not resemble a traditional album cover and instead be an actual collectible limited-edition NFT! In addition he also wanted the "Golden Egg" cover to be a completely different Angry Apes NFT, a true 1-of-1 Legendary Grail, raising the bar even higher for the collectors who love the exceptional art from ANGRY TENO and music from CREANS.
