Written during a period of personal turmoil, when my life was moving neither forward nor backward, I felt stuck where I was. I lacked the courage to move on while at the same time, I feared retreating back into the past.

I didn't know it at the moment but I was in the process of reinventing myself, and my life. And as so often is the case, for something new to emerge something old must die. Only once we let go of the old, can we truly appreciate our newfound path.

Through it all, this song emerged as a testament: an ode to the unyielding spirit within us. It stands as a reminder that no matter the tempests that life sends our way or the labyrinthine passages we navigate, a path forward is ALWAYS waiting to be discovered.
