Nhala - Woulda Been You

I wrote this song with my fiancé in our little one bedroom apartment in Silver Lake, CA on a random summer evening. He picked up an acoustic guitar, I spat out some quick melodies, and we laughed our asses off at every line we came up with. Over the next few days we produced the song together, and quickly gave birth to our very first song-child. 

"Would Been You" chronicles my previous, and obviously failed, attempts at love. After meeting my fiancé/producer, Tanner Orange, it became so apparent to me that none of those relationships were meant to be, because they just weren't him. The chorus lyrics state that he could've been "just a dude, a "leather coat with attitude", or even "trippin' balls and high on shrooms", but that no matter what he did, it would've been him.
